Legacy part - most users prefer the USB download cable instead for developing with PICAXE products.

USB to 9 pin serial adapter for computers that do not have a serial port. Compatible with all our products that use a standard serial cable (e.g. PICAXE AXE026 serial cable).

The USB010 software driver installation (prolific chipset) should be automatic on your computer, but drivers may also be found in the download section of the USB010 USB Adapter Driver page.
